On 16th November 2015, the Scientific Dentistry Alliance (SDA) team had the privilege to attend the Belgium’s King’s Day celebration held at the Renaissance Hotel, KL.
The Belgium’s King’s Day is traditionally the occasion for Belgium to celebrate their commitment to their Monarchy, but also an expression of Belgium unity. The event was jointly hosted by the Embassy of Belgium in Malaysia and the Malaysia-Belgium-Luxembourg Business Council (MBLBC). The Belgium Ambassador and the Minister of International Trade and Industry were both present at the occasion. As Malaysia nears the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community at the end of 2015, Malaysia welcomes investment from Belgium corporations into Malaysia.
Belgium stands for the ‘zest for life’: a lifestyle based on a set of shared values, independent of the cultural origin, philosophy or religion. This seems well fitting as part of Scientific Dentistry Alliance values too, which is inclusive to talent from various backgrounds.
The team from SDA that attended the event include Mr. Bernhard Schutte, Billy Choong, Edward Tay, Florence Koh and Jerry Wong. It was an excellent time of networking and setting up potential partnerships with the companies represented there. Among those are leading companies in the medical and technology scene.
SDA is expanding into new fronts and will be recruiting interns shortly. The team is very excited with the acceleration in the growth of the organization and will be revealing upcoming projects for Malaysia and ASEAN.
